MY CB1000

My CB1000 is an FT model made in 1996. I got the bike in May 97 and was the first pearson to own it apart from Carnells. It has covered just over 40,400 miles and is as sweet as the day it was made. I have done variuos things to it over the years, heres a few shots showing some of them.
I have been all over on it, as far as Devon and i have no probs with it not having a fairing, infact i bought it partly because it was a true Retro bike (twin shox). I think it is simply the best bike ever made, its build and looks, its power and ridability is second to none and i have had bandit owners get off my bike and say "WOW" Its Big but so am I and thats how i like it. I think i will have this bike till the end of my Riding days, i just havent seen anything that would make me swap it. The top photo is the latest of my bike.

Here she is, Painted Wheels and Exhaust, New rear pads and fork seals, powder coated stands... then i went to Manchester for a test ride weekend and it rained going so she now looks very dirty so i will be cleaning again... Never mind...!

This is the R6 rear mudgaurd i have fit.... i think it looks ok and the wife likes it as she wont get wet anymore...

Work for the winter is to Paint the Exhaust Underneath, Paint both stands black and maybe fit an LED rear light.

Brand new, just got home from picking it up.

4 Hrs cleaning.

With small headlight fairing, dint like it
so put belly pan on instead.

Who needs a Goldwing.
