Here's what Avon Tyres said about the New Cobra.....

The new Cobra tyres will give you better wet grip so I would go for them. It has replaced the Venom R tyres which are no longer manufactured. A 130/70R18 would have a bigger diameter than the 120/70ZR18 Azaro and may not fit. The 120 Azaro has a good all weather compound and should be ok with the Cobra. I would stick with that.

Best regards,

SHOCKS & EXHAUST INFO

The CB1000 as all rare bikes has the problem of replacing the exhaust and the shocks when there getting on a bit.... at the moment i havent needed either but im sure it wont be long...
SHOCKS
Hagon, Ohlins, Showa Maxton & White Power all do them but are very expensive, Hagon and Maxton been the cheapest but no remote resevoir, check out there web sites by clicking on the links to see the range....
I will probably get the Maxtons cause i no there very well made and you can upgrade the springs and damping rate when you buy them... i dont think they will look as good but if anything will make the bike handle better because they have rebound as well as damping... For the racers Ohlins, Showa and Whit Power would be the best choice but get the wife on side before as there very expensive.
EXHAUST
Heres a link to Barracuda Exhaust, full system delivered just £510 (see Home Page) and i have now spoken to the guy at Zorstec who tells me £380 fitted for stainless downpipes (using your own can) also David Silvers can get you the Originals from Honda for £575.19 inc VAT and Post (not including the heat shield or pillion gaurd)....Part Number 18300-MZ1-792

Photos do not do justice ! obviously its better later at night however if you are following behind my bike it looks good !
I would probably paint the card black with some pj1 as well it would be even better.
