Do I like that front end you are putting on your bike.... You will be the envy of ALL standard bikes...   I'm going to be a pain for a little bit and pick your brain with some info and questions....   So here goes.....   17" wheels Front ..Easy use VFR400/NC35 front wheel.... the discs and axle from the CB go straight on... bearings are fine and the wheel centres exactly fine...I have dropped the forks through the yokes 19mm.. GO EASY HERE, as the change might shock you and unless you do track time you could find it a bit too aggresive.. The front wheel seems to be a snap.... just get myself a VFR400 wheel (lots of luck here in the states but I'm sure can get one somewhere)   My forks are dropped 17 mm..... be carefull here as you still have 18" wheels....   Rear .. not so...I've used an early Fire Blade rear and rear disc... not too much to do .. you have to move the caliper hanger block on the swing arm... the original CB disc wont fit new wheel..but is an easy job, and then make up a couple of spacers, you will also need a new front sprocket offset by about 4.5mm, I have used a 45 tooth rear and 17 front What year Fire Blade wheel do you consider early?....1992 - 1995   What method did you use to move the caliper hanger block back?... I cut off the old block and made an new one.. 50mm long, 45mm wide, 40mm tall, with 15mm slot cut right down the top 45mm face, slot is about 15mm deep. what I did was take off the  blade' caliper from its mouting bracket and assembled the axle in the swing arm along with the caliper bracket in order to get the right positioning to allow travel for chain adjustment and then tacked on the bracket, you'll soon figure this one out and then dissassemble and weld on.   Do you, by any chance, have the dimensions of those spacers? ...Spacers, I believe that some of the originals will do from what I remember, I seem to remember having to make up 1.. any way you will need 3 Brake side.. 1 .... 30mm dia by 13mm deep, 20mm hole for axle (this spacer sits in the outer bearing)                      2 .... 34mm dia by 21mm deep, again 20mm for axle, (this spacer sits between brake caliper hanging bracket and swing arm/chain adjuster)   Chain Side.. 30mm dia by 17.5mm again 20mm for axle...   remember to check chain and sprocket alignment and and alter if required, i've got to move the rear to the right by about 1mm    Which side of the front sprocket did you mill off the 4.5mm?...I didn't.. I had new spockets made up as the new rear wheel/ tyre will be wider you need 4.5.. offset wider than the original sprocket from the gear box.   ***** The reason I ask these questions is that I can then collect, make the parts I need without taking the bike out of service for too long a time because in the summer I use it for my main transportation......   I have attached pics of the latest mod.. nearly finished, I've yet to ride it though.   Send a pic of the finished bike...... Just can't get over how COOL your bike looks......   One more thing........  Is that a Frame Slider I see attached to the  fwd eng mount?  What brand are they?.....  I want to put them on my bike..... The bike went over on me about a year ago in a parking lot incident (someone pulled right in front of me as I was turning and I lost the front end.... Hardly any damage, although it would have been nice to have them on..... I will be making up sliders for CB's when I move standby, if your in a hurry then I rekon you should be able to get them fro any good mail order Co'    Sent you a pic of my bike.... It is a very clean '94 CB1000   Also sent you a pic of my '86 Honda VFR 750 (looking for new fuel tank) Mods: Complete 89 Suzuki front end, 91 rear wheel and brake assy, Laser exhaust sys, Cobalt fiberglass bodywork.....   Thanks again for any info you can provide me....   Bob Z Vacaville, CA greenhornet2@earthlink.net €ƒрує f … BqЪЭAжйеи 9:;эйХэйэйэйХэйэйэйэЊ‘Њ‘Њ‘†hZWhm@НmH sH 1hZWhm@НB*CJOJQJ^JaJmH phsH 5hZWhm@Н0JB*CJOJQJ^JaJmH phsH 'hm@Н0JB*CJOJQJ^JaJph€џ'hm@Н0JB*CJOJQJ^JaJph#hm@НB*CJOJQJ^JaJphBoqЫЭзйжи :;њњњњњњњњњњњњњњњњњјgdm@Н,1hА‚.
